Temperatures continue to fall as frigid wind chills hit Metro Detroit

Light accumulations possible south of I-94

Waking up on either side of 20 degrees, but feeling like teens and single digits again due to that northwesterly flow on winds. A few flakes flying this morning as well.

Another cold one on tap. Scattered to numerous snow showers will develop this afternoon/evening, especially south of I-94, with a dusting to 1 inch expected. Otherwise, just flurries elsewhere. Highs will be in the mid-20s, so we are stuck in this cooler than average stretch.

Sunset is at 5:19 p.m.

Temperatures tomorrow morning fall to somewhere between 0 to 10 degrees with some wind chills below zero. With clearing skies, we will likely see some sun on Thursday. Widespread light snow is likely Friday afternoon/evening with an inch or two of accumulation possible. A few of those showers could linger into Saturday morning. Highs this weekend will be around 30. We are tracking another shot of arctic air by the middle of next week which will have high temperatures falling back into the 20s.
