When you wake up Thursday, windchills will be below zero in many cities around Metro Detroit.

On a brighter note, we should have a little sunshine to accompany those cold temps.

Becoming mostly clear and cold overnight with a low of nine in the city and colder in the suburbs.

Thursday calls for increasing clouds with a high of 27 and windchills only making it to the upper teens.

Friday

Snow showers return Friday afternoon and evening.

We will pick up an inch or so of accumulation in most areas.

Mostly cloudy and continued cold for the weekend, with highs in the upper 20s.
