4Warn Weather – We had the coldest morning of the week and some of the coldest wind chills of the season so far on Thursday morning.
Air temperatures started out between zero to 10 degrees with subzero wind chills along and north of M-59. We’ve had some sunshine to start the day, but clouds thicken this afternoon ahead of our next snow maker.
How much snow to expect Friday
We could see some light flurries by lunchtime Friday into the evening hours. We’re expecting widespread light snow, producing a overall total of 1 to 2 inches.
The snow could affect the evening commute.
Cold front moves in Sunday night
Another cold front that moves in Sunday night could bring a light dusting of snow early Monday morning.
The secondary cold front could affect the Monday morning commute by creating some slick conditions.
We are also tracking another shot of arctic air by the middle of next week, which will have high temperatures falling back into the low 20s.
