Metro Detroit to see accumulating snow, cold temperatures this week

1-2 inches of snow could accumulate; wind chills in single digits

Wind chills will remain in the single digits and low teens throughout the next several days. (WDIV)

4Warn Weather – Accumulating snow is expected in Metro Detroit on Monday night and Tuesday morning and bitterly cold temperatures will continue throughout the week.

Tuesday

Overnight light and fluffy snow showers could accumulate to around an inch or two across much of Metro Detroit. Although not a lot of snow, it could slow down the morning commute on Tuesday.

Lake effect snow showers continue throughout the day with gusty winds and below-average temperatures.

Highs Tuesday will be in the low 20s with WNW winds gusting to 28mph at times.

Wind chills will remain in the single digits and low teens throughout the next several days.

Wednesday

It’ll be tough to find much sunshine this week, but Wednesday looks to be our best bet at this point.

Weekend forecast

An interesting forecast for Lions tailgating on Saturday.

Let’s talk about it tonight!
