Warmer conditions return today with highs in the low 40s. Low pressure pushing north out of the southern states is tracking our way and will bring rain showers south of I-94 later tonight that will overspread the area by tomorrow morning.
Friday
Rain becomes more widespread Friday morning, possibly transitioning to a mix of rain and snow, with some freezing rain Friday afternoon as temperatures slide to around the freezing mark. Highs will be close to 40 early, but cooler as the afternoon progresses.
Weekend
Partly sunny and much cooler on Saturday as highs dip into the upper 20s, near 30. We then rise back to around 40 on Sunday. However, there is a chance of rain and snow Sunday and Sunday night.
Next Week
We start with a mild Monday as highs stick around 40, before falling to the more seasonal low-30s the middle of next week. Long-range data is suggesting that there is another chance for a few snow showers on Wednesday.
