Wintry weather persists as more snow is expected this weekend in Metro Detroit

Friday highs in lower 30s; Saturday highs in upper 20s

4Warn Weather – After an icy morning, Thursday night will be much quieter with clearing skies and cold temps.

It will be windy with gusts over 30mph at times, making our low of 17 feel more like the single digits.

Saturday

Snow returns Saturday but not until the afternoon/evening time frame.

At this time, it appears the heaviest snow will be closer to sunset.

The totals will range from 1 to 4 inches, with the highest totals in Livingston, Oakland, and Macomb counties.

Toward the Ohio border, there could be a wintry mix, which would cut down totals in those areas.
