Rain showers return to the forecast looking ahead into part of next week (WDIV)

4Warn Weather – After a wintry forecast for most of the week, we are going to start to warm things up and also bring in some sunshine looking ahead into the start of the weekend.

For Saturday, a mixture of sunshine and clouds can be expected. High temperatures heading for right around the freezing mark, into the lower 30s by Saturday afternoon. It will be a little breezy as well, so it will feel a little colder than it actually is outside. Winds will be gusting as high as 25 miles an hour throughout much of the day.

We will keep some breaks in the clouds into the forecast overnight tonight, and it will be a little warmer in the temperature department. Overnight low temperatures dropping into the lower 20s Saturday night and into early on Sunday morning.

A little more cloud cover rolls into the forecast for the end of the weekend on Sunday, but we will remain dry. Mostly cloudy skies can be expected. High temperatures heading for the middle 30s by Sunday afternoon.

We keep the dry weather into the forecast looking ahead into the start of next week, and the warming trend will also continue. Mostly cloudy skies can be expected on Monday, high temperatures heading into the lower 40s by Monday afternoon.

Our next chance of rain moves into the forecast Tuesday with a weak disturbance rolling into the region. Then we will also keep a chance of rain into the forecast looking ahead into Wednesday as well. High temperatures remain remaining above average, holding into the lower 40s both Tuesday and Wednesday.

We will keep the chance of rain showers changing a few snow showers into the forecast by the time we get to Thursday as colder air begins to move into the region once again. High temperatures heading for the lower 40s by Thursday afternoon.

Cloud cover will stick around the forecast for the end of next week on Friday. High temperatures back into the upper 30s by Friday afternoon.
