Coldest day of the week in Metro Detroit, looking ahead at rain chances

DETROIT – Waking up to temperatures about 20 degrees cooler than yesterday. Dry conditions will continue through Friday. Today is the coldest day of the week, but seasonal with highs in the 40s. Clouds give way to sunshine today.

Thursday

Warming trend returns Thursday as we will be about 10 degrees warmer than today with mid-50s for high temperatures.

Friday

The pick day of the week with highs soaring into the upper 60s. A little breezy, but dry with a mix of sun and clouds.

This weekend

Windy conditions are expected Saturday, with gusts over 40 MPH. There is a good chance we could hit 70 Saturday, but we will be in and out of rain this weekend. We fall back into the 50s on Sunday.
