Sunday’s rain transitioned to snow in some communities as temperatures continued to plummet. While little to no snow accumulation is expected, any residual moisture on the roads will freeze as road temperatures fall to 32 degrees and below. Be particularly careful driving on overpasses and other bridges, where slick spots may develop first.
Sprinkles and flurries taper off, and nighttime skies will be mostly cloudy. Lows will be 25 to 30 degrees. Expect northwesterly winds 5 to 15 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.
