4Warn Weather – The final days of winter bring 70-degree weather, but Metro Detroit will experience snow showers on the first day of spring.
Temperatures will remain mild and above normal through the evening and night. As clouds increase and skies become mostly cloudy, temperatures will only fall to around 50 degrees. Southerly winds will be 5 to 10 mph.
Wednesday
Wednesday will see the return of afternoon temperatures around 70 degrees with a mix of sunshine and clouds. Southerly winds will be 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
During the late evening, rain showers will move into Metro Detroit from the west ahead of a cold front. The chance of rain will increase overnight, and a few thunderstorms will be possible. Temperatures will still be in the 50s at midnight.
Thursday
Expect a rainy Thursday morning, but rain will begin to transition to snow in the afternoon. Afternoon temperatures will have fallen into the 30s. Afternoon winds will be out of the northwest at 15 to 20 mph, with gusts up to 35 mph.

Under mostly clear to partly cloudy skies, Thursday night’s temperatures will fall into the mid-20s to 30 degrees.
Friday
Expect a calmer Friday. Under mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies, highs will be in the lower 50s.
Saturday
On Saturday, highs will be in the lower 50s, but rain and snow showers will occur in the morning and early afternoon. Lows will be around 30 degrees.
Sunday
Sunday will be mostly cloudy, with highs in the mid-40s.
