4Warn Weather – Metro Detroit residents are in for a brisk start to the spring season as temperatures are set to drop significantly.

After enjoying two days of warmth with temperatures in the 70s, the region will experience a noticeable chill.

Overnight, skies will clear, leading to lows in the 20s and wind chills dipping into the teens.

This cold snap is not uncommon for the area during the early days of spring.

Friday

Friday will begin very cold, but some sunshine is expected to help temperatures rise to the upper 40s and low 50s.

As the day transitions into night, there is a possibility of seeing a few flurries or sprinkles.

The next chance for rain is anticipated Friday night.

Weekend forecast

Looking ahead to the weekend, temperatures will struggle to reach the 40s, continuing the chilly trend.

See you at 11 p.m.
