Sunshine to start Sunday before rain, snow showers return to Metro Detroit

Temps remain below average into the start of next week

Rain and snow showers return to the region by the end of the weekend on Sunday (WDIV)

4Warn Weather – We will start the day dry on Sunday before another chance of rain moves into the forecast Sunday afternoon and evening, and we will hold onto a slight chance of rain and snow showers early next week on Monday.

With colder air moving into the region, we will keep the chance of some snowflakes North of Metro Detroit to start next week as well.

Cloud cover sticks around for the first part of next week before we do break up the cloud cover a little bit by Wednesday and bring some sunshine back into the forecast. High temperature is remaining a few degrees below average into the low and mid 40s for the first half of next week

Expect the cloud cover to hold tough looking ahead into next Thursday as well before we do see temperatures warm-up a bit by Thursday afternoon. High temperatures warming into the upper 40s to lower 50s by Thursday.

Another round of rain moves into the region for the end of next week on Friday. High temperatures going back above average again. Expect high temperatures to head into the middle 50s by Friday afternoon.

Rain showers stick around the forecast looking ahead into the start of next weekend on Saturday as well. Temperatures getting even warmer, heading into the lower 60s by Saturday afternoon.

  • Sunday night: Mostly cloudy skies. Low: 36.
  • Monday: Mostly cloudy skies; a chance of rain & snow showers. High: 42.
  • Monday night: Mostly cloudy skies. Low: 31.
