4Warn Weather – Flooding rain is the biggest threat to Metro Detroit, and severe storms are still on the table for parts of the area.
Our severe weather threat has decreased to a slight risk across most of Southeast Lower Michigan.
An enhanced risk remains along the Michigan-Ohio border, with a warm front expected to arrive around 8 p.m.
There is still a risk of severe thunderstorms with wind, hail, and an isolated tornado not out of the question, mainly for areas south of I-94.
The bigger concern is flooding. A Flood Watch goes into effect from 8 p.m. Wednesday through 8 a.m. Thursday.
Heavy rain of 1.5” or more is expected across the entire area. The good news is that the rain will come to an end overnight.

Thursday brings drier weather but is also very windy, with gusts over 40mph.
Opening Day
Opening Day is still looking good with partly sunny skies and temps in the mid-50s. Rain returns for the weekend.
