After some much needed sunshine to end the weekend on Sunday, we are bringing the active weather back to the forecast looking ahead into the start of the week.

As we work through our Monday, we will watch a week disturbance roll into the region, and with some colder air moving in this will bring the chance of a few rain and snow showers throughout the day on Monday. High temperatures into the lower 40s by the time we get to Monday afternoon. Expect temperatures to fall late afternoon and into the evening behind this disturbance as the winds shift to the northwest bringing in a colder air mass.

Then, looks like we get a break from the active weather looking ahead into the middle of next week. Some cloud cover sticks around by the time we get to Tuesday, before we break into some Sunshine for the middle of the week on Wednesday. And with the cooldown early next week, we are looking at a warming trend into the second half of next week. Expect temperatures to warm into the middle 40s by Wednesday, then into the upper 40s by the time we get to Thursday.

Our next system moves into the region late Wednesday and into Thursday. With a colder air mass in place late Wednesday, this could start off as yet another chance of rain and show showers, before temperatures warm into the 40s and we change this over to rain showers looking ahead into the day on Thursday.

High pressure will build into the region looking ahead into the end of next week, which will bring some much needed sunshine into the forecast. High temperatures warming up into the lower 50s by Friday and middle 50s by the time we start the weekend on Saturday.

Expect the sunshine to continue into the end of the weekend on Sunday as well. Temperatures getting even warmer, actually going above average as we head into the lower 60s by Sunday afternoon.
