Wintry mix moving into SE Michigan, when to expect spring-like weather

Winter-like Wednesday in Metro Detroit

DETROIT – Waking up to temperatures into the 20s, but wind chills are not as cold as they were yesterday.

We will be a smidge warmer today with highs in the mid to upper 40s. A mix of rain and snow is expected across much of Southeast Michigan late this evening, likely after sunset, into the pre-dawn hours on Thursday before transitioning to scattered rain showers throughout much of the day tomorrow. Highs on Thursday will be back in the 40s.

Warmer temperatures ensue this weekend with mainly dry conditions working their way in Friday through Sunday. Highs will be around 50 on Friday. Sunshine returns with seasonal mid-50s on Saturday, near 60 on Sunday. Well above average temperatures are likely early next week.
