Scattered rain showers after 4 p.m.

DETROIT – Waking up to a messy morning! A mix of rain and snow continues across Southeast Michigan this morning before a lull midday and then a transition to more scattered rain showers after 4 p.m.

Slushy snow accumulations of 1-2 inches are possible closer to US-23 this morning, mainly on grassy/elevated surfaces. Another chilly day with highs in the low 40s.

Friday

Warmer temperatures return as drier weather builds in. Partly cloudy with highs around 50.

This weekend

More spring-like conditions ensue this weekend. Seasonal on Saturday with highs in the mid-50s. We rise to around 60 on Sunday with a mix of sun and clouds both days.

Next week

Well-above average temperatures are likely Monday as highs rise to around 70. We could see showers roll through later Monday that drops us back into the 50s through midweek.
