Stormy start, calm finish -- Here’s your Easter weekend forecast for Metro Detroit

Saturday highs in upper 60s; Sunday highs in upper 50s

4Warn Weather – Good Friday night, we are still under a marginal (level one) risk for severe thunderstorms. Most will come after midnight and last until about 5 a.m.

Our chances of severe weather are diminishing, but there is still a chance that a few storms will reach severe limits, especially with winds.

That would mainly be between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m.

Saturday

Saturday brings several clouds, with temperatures close to normal in the low 60s. There is a very slight chance for a sprinkle in the afternoon, but most areas stay dry.

Easter

Starting Easter Sunday, it will be chilly, with sunrise services in the 30s. It will be dry throughout the day, but a chance for showers returns in the evening and overnight hours.

Monday looks to be stormy.
