Sunshine, clouds and cooler for Earth Day; temps taking a run at 80 by Thursday afternoon

Spring-like temperatures continue into the middle and end of the week with storms returning Friday

TUESDAY (EARTH DAY): Partly cloudy skies, a little cooler. High: 66.

TUESDAY NIGHT: Mostly cloudy skies. Low: 51.

WEDNESDAY: Partly cloudy skies. A few rain showers possible. 72.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy skies. Low: 52.

THURSDAY: Partly cloudy skies. High: 78.

After some sunshine to start the week with a few rain showers and thunderstorms on Monday, we’re bringing some sunshine, cooler temperatures and breezy winds into the forecast for Earth Day on Tuesday.

Expect a mixture of sunshine and clouds for Tuesday, high pressure will build in and control the forecast looking ahead into Earth Day. High temperatures will head into the middle 60s by Tuesday afternoon. Winds will be breezy, expect gusts upwards of 25 MPH into Tuesday Afternoon.

Sunshine continues for Wednesday and into Thursday with temperatures getting warmer once again. We will also hold onto the chance of a few rain showers into the forecast on Wednesday, but it will not be a widespread rain or an all day rain event. High temperatures remaining into the 70s both days. We could take a run at near 80 degrees on Thursday as high temperatures will had into the upper 70s in the afternoon.

Showers and thunderstorms return to the forecast looking ahead into the end of the week on Friday, this is as another cold front rolls through the region. High temperatures remaining into the lower 70s for the end of the week.

Drier weather moves into the region just in time for the weekend. Expect lots of sunshine and a little cloud cover for both Saturday and Sunday. High temperatures cooler, but still seasonable. We’ll head into the low to mid 60s both days. Expect sunshine to continue into the start of next week on Monday. High temperatures heading into the lower 70s by Monday afternoon.
