Metro Detroit will have a couple of rain chances amid a warm stretch.
Southeast Michigan will experience a few showers and an isolated thunderstorm through Wednesday evening.
Brief heavy rain could occur in any thunderstorm that develops as it moves eastward.
After reaching 80 degrees at Metro Airport on Wednesday afternoon, temperatures will remain mild through the night.
Under partly cloudy skies, lows will be in the lower 50s in most communities.
Thursday
On Thursday, expect a mixture of sunshine and clouds. A stray rain shower is possible, but mainly north of I-69.
Highs will reach the lower 80s in Detroit, around 80 degrees in Ann Arbor and Clinton Township, and near 70 degrees in Port Huron. Winds will be out of the south-southeast around 5 mph.

Going to the Pistons game?
It will be mostly cloudy, with temperatures near 70 degrees Fahrenheit, at the start of the game at 7 p.m., and will remain in the lower—to mid—60s after the game.
Thursday night’s lows will be in the lower to mid-50s, under partly cloudy skies.
Friday
Then, start your Friday with a smile from above. Venus, Saturn, and the crescent moon will be on display in the eastern sky. The formation will resemble a smiley face. The best viewing will be predawn.

Clouds will increase on Friday, with rain showers developing in the afternoon. The system will also bring a chance of thunderstorms.
Temperatures will climb into the lower to mid-70s. Nighttime temperatures will fall to the mid- to upper-40s, with the chance of rain.
Saturday and Sunday
Next weekend, temperatures will peak in the lower to mid-60s. Clouds will decrease on Saturday, and Sunday will be mostly sunny.
Metro Detroit’s average highs for this week are in the lower-60s, and the average lows are in the lower-40s.
