Another impactful storm is still on track to come to Metro Detroit this weekend.
The exact snow totals are too early to tell at this point. However, the system will dump a good amount of snow in the area. The difference from Wednesday/Thursday’s winter storm is that it looks like this will be over the course of two days.

Friday night into Saturday
Snow showers will move in overnight Friday into Saturday and continue in the afternoon.
Saturday into Sunday
We could see a little wintry mix closer to midnight Saturday into Sunday, especially further south. It all changes back to snow on Sunday, and it looks to be heavy in the morning.
It’s too far out to talk totals on this system, but this will likely add a few more inches, maybe even a little more, over the course of both Saturday and Sunday.
