4Warn Weather – After cloud cover and breezy winds with cold temperatures throughout the day on Tuesday, we are going to keep the chilly temperatures around as we work throughout the next day or so.

We’re going to watch another cold front move through overnight Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. That will bring a reinforcing shot of cold air to the region, keep the cloud cover around, and keep our temperatures below average looking ahead throughout, not only Wednesday but through the end of the week.

Wednesday

Expect a few chances for snowflakes to stick around in the forecast on Wednesday before we break into some sunshine on Thursday. But expect temperatures to remain on the chili side of things, into the upper 30s by Thursday afternoon.

Thursday

Then, all eyes are on the end of the week on Friday, with the potential for another round of accumulating snow for some of us throughout the day.

As of right now, it looks like our system will move through a good portion of the day, where there is the potential to see some snow accumulation across the region. It’s too early to tell how much we would see, but keep in mind now that we are in spring, it will be harder to keep any kind of snow accumulation on the ground.

Weekend forecast

Once that system moves off to east late Friday night, we bring a mixture of sunshine and clouds into the forecast looking ahead into the weekend both Saturday and Sunday. High temperatures warming into the lower 40s both days, with overnight lows into the 20s both days.

Next week

The clouds looking ahead into early next week on Monday, we will remain dry throughout the day but temperatures head back above average for a change. High temperatures heading for the lower 50s by Monday afternoon.

Another system our way by the time we get to Tuesday, expect clouds and rain showers to stick around throughout the day with high temperatures remaining in the mid-50s by Tuesday afternoon.
