--> Winter weather advisories in effect for 20+ Michigan counties due to freezing rain -- what to know

A wintry mix of freezing rain, sleet, and snow will move from the south to the north around midnight Wednesday night.

Freezing rain will fall between 12 a.m. and 7 a.m., with a light accumulation possible.

This will make the morning commute icy, and there may be slowdowns. After 7 a.m., the wintry mix will end, and highs will reach the upper 30s.

We’re dry for Friday, and then another system will affect the area over the weekend.

See you at 11 p.m.
