Overnight, it will be calm and cold, with lows in the upper teens.

The morning commute Thursday looks just fine with cloudy skies and dry conditions.

Here is the latest storm timeline:

  • Between 1 p.m.- 5 p.m., snow begins moving into the area Wednesday
  • 5 p.m. Wednesday to 3 a.m. Thursday is when the heaviest snow falls, and it will accumulate
  • 3 a.m. - 8 a.m. Thursday, snow showers continue with slippery roads and lots of snow to shovel.

Weekend forecast

Another round of snow moves in on Saturday and looks to be similar in snow totals or perhaps even greater.

Next week

Then very cold air settles in next week with single-digit lows early in the week.
