Over an inch of rain is possible Tuesday night between 9 p.m. and 4 a.m.

Wednesday

Rain will taper off during the day Wednesday but a few scattered showers will remain.

Winds will pick up Wednesday night into Thursday with gusts over 35 mph not out of the question.

Thursday

Early Thursday morning temps will drop below freezing and any remaining moisture could come down as a snow or a mix of rain/snow.

The ground is still fairly warm, but can’t rule out a couple of slippery spots for Thursday morning’s commute.

Weekend forecast

A cooler weekend followed by a big warm up next week.
