A winter storm is expected to bring snow to most of Michigan Wednesday evening into Thursday morning.
Due to this, several counties throughout the state are under a winter weather advisory.
Most areas of Metro Detroit are expected to get 3-6 inches of snow, so the winter storm warning was updated to an advisory.
The warning is still in effect for Macomb, Sanilac and St. Clair counties, where 6-8 inches of snow is expected.
